Itu bukan sekadar sugesti. Faktanya, emosi dan gula darah punya hubungan erat yang sering luput kita sadari. Ketika emosi tidak stabil, tubuh bisa memberi reaksi serius, bahkan dalam bentuk lonjakan gula darah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Bagaimana Emosi Bisa Menaikkan Gula Darah?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tubuh merespons emosi seperti marah, cemas, atau stres dengan melepaskan hormon stres, yaitu adrenalin dan kortisol. Tujuannya adalah mempersiapkan tubuh untuk &#8220;melawan&#8221; atau &#8220;kabur&#8221;, namun efek sampingnya adalah lonjakan gula darah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Kortisol meningkatkan resistensi insulin, sehingga gula darah sulit dikendalikan<\/mark>. Bahkan pada orang sehat, stres bisa memicu produksi glukosa berlebih. Jantung berdebar, napas memburu, otot menegang, dan kadar gula darah melonjak. Jika respons ini berlangsung terus-menerus, kontrol glukosa pun terganggu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">satu dari empat penderita diabetes tipe 1 dan satu dari lima dengan tipe 2 mengalami <em>diabetes distress<\/em><\/mark>, yakni stres emosional akibat pengelolaan penyakit jangka panjang.<sup>2,3<\/sup> Ini termasuk karena mereka dihantui kekhawatiran soal komplikasi, takut hipoglikemia, dan lelah menghadapi fluktuasi gula darah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tidak hanya itu, stres berkepanjangan juga membuat gaya hidup sehat sulit dijalani. Kurang gerak, makan sembarangan, dan tidur terganggu, semua ini perlahan meningkatkan risiko gangguan metabolik. Jika tidak terkelola dengan baik, sistem ini dapat memicu pelepasan hormon kortisol, yang berdampak pada peningkatan kadar gula darah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Namun, <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">saat kita belajar mengelola stres secara positif, misalnya dengan relaksasi atau perawatan diri, kadar kortisol bisa turun dan sensitivitas insulin pun membaik<\/mark>. Ketika kamu membiarkan stres, marah, atau emosi negatif berlarut-larut, tubuhmu akan merespons dengan cara yang bisa berdampak jangka panjang. <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Emosi dan gula darah bukan dua hal yang terpisah, melainkan bagian dari ekosistem tubuh yang saling memengaruhi.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mulai hari ini, dengarkan sinyal tubuh!
