Salah satu jenis kacang-kacangan sumber protein berkualitas tinggi dengan kandungan lemak jenuh yang rendah dan sumber pangan serat. Di Indonesia, kedelai merupakan komoditas pangan terpenting setelah padi dan jagung. Produk olahan kedelai sebagai bahan makanan berasal dari berbagai proses, termasuk fermentasi, nonfermentasi, dan fortifikasi. Makanan fermentasi berupa tempe, kecap, tauco, miso, natto. Produk nonfermentasi antara lain kedelai segar, tahu, susu kedelai, kembang tahu, burger, es krim, daging sintetik, bakon sintetik, dan campuran kue dan roti. Sedangkan, bahan fortifikasi berasal dari tepung kedelai yang kaya gizi.<span id=\"45018d87-4256-4317-80b2-1524242beb11\" data-items=\"[&quot;827406717&quot;]\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-has-children=\"true\" class=\"abt-citation\"><sup>\u200b1\u200b<\/sup><\/span> Namun, benarkah mengonsumsi kedelai dapat menurunkan kesuburan? Hal ini tidak salah dikarenakan adanya kandungan isoflavon tertinggi yang ditemukan pada kedelai.<strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"> Kandungan isoflavon kedelai bervariasi dari 128 hingga 380 mg\/ 100 g kedelai dan yang dominan adalah genistein dan daidzein.<\/span><\/strong> Selain faktor genetis, kandungan isoflavon kedelai juga dipengaruhi oleh musim tanam, umur panen, pengairan, sinar UV dan kandungan unsur hara tanah, serta proses pengolahan. <strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Perkecambahan dan fermentasi dapat meningkatkan kandungan isoflavon. Hal ini menyebabkan isoflavon kedelai dapat berikatan dengan Receptor Estrogen (RE), dengan sifatnya yang agonis ataupun antagonis. <strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Isoflavon sebagai senyawa <em>estrogen like<\/em>, mengawali kerjanya dengan cara meniru cara kerja estrogen dan diduga memiliki kemampuan antifertilitas.<\/span><\/strong><span id=\"f2389011-2094-44da-bc60-9446ef2a1b38\" data-items=\"[&quot;3819036037&quot;]\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-has-children=\"true\" class=\"abt-citation\"><sup>\u200b3\u200b<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ahligizi.id\/blog\/benarkah-kulit-bayi-bisa-putih-jika-ibu-hamil-rajin-minum-susu-kedelai\/\">Baca : Benarkah Kulit Bayi Bisa Putih Jika Ibu Hamil Rajin Minum Susu Kedelai?<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Isoflavon dan Kesuburan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kandungan isoflavon ini diketahui dapat menghambat enzim 17- \u03b2-hidroksisteroid-oksidoreduktase yaitu enzim yang digunakan untuk mensintesis testosteron, akibatnya terjadi penurunan kadar testosteron pada sel Leydig. Dampak negatif dari adanya penurunan kadar testosteron yaitu dapat menyebabkan penurunan kualitas spermatozoa. Sehingga timbul persepsi bahwa kehadiran fitoestrogen isoflavon pada kedelai menyebabkan pengaruh buruk pada kesuburan.<span id=\"df29c39c-5513-47b5-938d-869c38ba29f1\" data-items=\"[&quot;2551027763&quot;]\" contenteditable=\"false\" class=\"abt-citation\" data-has-children=\"true\"><sup>\u200b4\u200b<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hal ini juga didukung oleh beberapa penelitian yang telah dilakukan seperti, 99 pasangan di Rumah Sakit Massachusetts yang mengkonsumsi 15 makanan yang mengandung isoflavon selama 3 minggu, didapatkan bahwa<strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"> tingginya konsumsi isoflavon memiliki hubungan terhadap rendahnya jumlah sperma.<\/span><\/strong> Hasil penelitian lain di Jenewa, Swiss terhadap tikus jantan didapatkan bahwa paparan jangka panjang dari kedelai yang mengandung isoflavon dapat mengakibatkan penurunan pada jumlah sperma dan kesuburan.<span id=\"0fe0a72b-b1c1-419c-94c3-1b12ea29ccf1\" data-items=\"[&quot;2551027763&quot;]\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-has-children=\"true\" class=\"abt-citation\"><sup>\u200b4\u200b<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meskipun demikian, <strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">isoflavon dapat berperan mengganti fungsi estrogen di dalam tubuh khususnya pada wanita yang sedang mengalami menopause dengan kadar estrogen rendah sehingga dapat mengurangi gejala menopause. Isoflavon juga berpotensi sebagai perlindungan dan pencegahan beberapa penyakit degeneratif.<\/span><\/strong> Struktur kimia isoflavon telah diketahui fungsi fisiologisnya dan dimanfaatkan sebagai produk farmasi (obat-obatan). Potensi senyawa isoflavon untuk keperluan kesehatan antara lain sebagai anti-inflamasi, antitumor atau <a href=\"https:\/\/ahligizi.id\/blog\/tips-pencegahan-kanker\/\">antikanker<\/a>, antivirus, antialergi, mencegah <a href=\"https:\/\/ahligizi.id\/blog\/osteoporosis-dan-kalsium\/\">osteoporosis<\/a>, menurunkan risiko penyakit jantung dengan membantu menurunkan kadar kolesterol darah.<span id=\"7cddb4ed-f1fc-416f-810f-d8c2f9f26051\" data-items=\"[&quot;827406717&quot;]\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-has-children=\"true\" class=\"abt-citation\"><sup>\u200b1\u200b<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa mengonsumsi kedelai tidak perlu dihindari. Melainkan, perhatikan<strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"> jumlah asupannya yaitu 25 g per hari atau setara dengan asupan isoflavon 37-62 mg yang telah memenuhi 83% kebutuhan isoflavon harian yang dianjurkan. Agar dapat diperoleh manfaatnya terhadap kesehatan tanpa memberikan efek samping terhadap kesuburan<\/span><\/strong>.<span id=\"e4944814-d94a-452b-a17d-fff79f52e2b6\" data-items=\"[&quot;2728715716&quot;]\" contenteditable=\"false\" class=\"abt-citation\" data-has-children=\"true\"><sup>\u200b2\u200b<\/sup><\/span> Jangan terlalu sering mengonsumsi produk olahan kedelai atau menjadikannya sebagai bahan utama.
