Jumlah andiperkirakan dapat menjadi dua kali lipat pada tahun 2030 dan tiga kali atau sekitar 115 juta orang pada tahun 2050 <span id=\"251dc72e-98b9-4522-a3c1-c168c2a8853c\" data-items=\"[&quot;438230920&quot;]\" data-has-children=\"true\" class=\"abt-citation\"><sup>\u200b1\u200b<\/sup><\/span>. Lantas bagaimana diet untuk orang yang mengalami demensia\/alzheimer ini?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Demensia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">adalah sindrom yang mempengaruhi memori, pemikiran, perilaku dan kemampuan untuk melakukan kegiatan sehari-hari, yang disebabkan oleh berbagai penyakit otak, seperti penyakit Alzheimer, demensia vaskular, demensia dengan tubuh Lewy, dan demensia frontotemporal adalah yang paling umum<\/span>,<\/strong> demensia bukanlah bagian normal dari penuaan<span id=\"10c00dd1-7db8-46a1-84dc-3d17e78fbf52\" data-items=\"[&quot;2277595254&quot;]\" data-has-children=\"true\" class=\"abt-citation\"><sup>\u200b2\u200b<\/sup><\/span> . Secara umum gejala demensia dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu gangguan kognisi dan gangguan non-kognisi. Gangguan kognisi meliputi dari gangguan memori terutama kemampuan belajar materi baru yang sering merupakan keluhan paling dini. Memori lama bisa terganggu pada demensia tahap lanjut. Gangguan non-kognisi meliputi keluhan neuropsikiatri atau kelompok <em>behavioral neuropsychological symptoms of dementia<\/em> (BPSD). Komponen perilaku meliputi agitasi, tindakan agresif dan nonagresif seperti <em>wandering<\/em>, disihibisi, <em>sundowning syndrome<\/em> dan gejala lainnya. Karateristik klinik berupa berupa penurunan progresif memori episodik dan fungsi kortikal lain. Gangguan motorik tidak ditemukan kecuali pada tahap akhir penyakit. Gangguan perilaku dan ketergantungan dalam aktivitas hidup keseharian menyusul gangguan memori episodik mendukung diagnosis penyakit ini. Perubahan ini semua dapat \u00a0berdampak pada \u00a0diet, asupan zat gizi, dan kualitas hidup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kenaikan\/Penurunan Berat Badan Orang dengan Demensia<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Beberapa orang demensia lupa makan atau berpikir mereka sudah makan hanya karena tidak merasa lapar. Apabila hal ini dapat terjadi secara terus menerus akan terjadi penurunan berat badan secara bertahap dari waktu ke waktu. Jika seorang dimensia tinggal sendirian tidak ada yang menyiapkan makan untuk mereka dan mereka akan sulit untuk membuat atau membeli makanannya sendiri. Begitu pula sebaliknya beberapa orang bisa makan berlebihan. Anda dapat memasukan makanan berprotein tinggi pada dua makanan utama setiap hari, serta makanan ringan. Sumber protein yang baik seperti daging, ayam, ikan, produk susu, telur, dan kacang-kacangan.
