Rasanya hampir setiap balita memiliki masa-masa GTM (Gerakan Tutup Mulut) atau mogok makan ya, dengan beragam masalah, mulai dari tidak mau makan nasi, mengunci rapat mulut, mengemut, melepehkan makanan, menyembur, pilih-pilih makanan, tidak suka makan sayur dan lain sebagainnya Kalo sudah begini biasanya membuat lelah, energi kita habis terkuras sehingga membuat orang tua\/pengasuh mulai stres. Dampaknya akan menggangu hubungan antara orang tua\/ pengasuh dengan si anak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bagaimana menyikapinya? Jangan biarkan hal ini berlarut- larut namun juga jangan terburu-buru sehingga salah mengambil sikap yang bisa berpengaruh pada emosional dan perilaku makan anak kedepannya. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kenali dan Ikuti Tahap Perkembangannya Pada balita, mulai dari usia 1 tahun, ketertarikan dan asupan makan mulai berkurang, karena laju pertumbuhan pada usia ini normalnya menurun. Selain pertumbuhan, perkembangan anak (sosial, emosional, serta motorik) juga mempengaruhi respon anak terhadap makanan. Hal ini harus dipahami dan diterima sepenuhnya oleh orang tua\/pengasuh. <br><br>Makan ada sebuah proses belajar. Anak akan lebih senang bila diberi kesempatan untuk mengeskplorasi makanannya. Dan biarkan ia memilih makanan apa yg ia mau makan. Makan jadi sedikit? Berantakan? Piring dilempar? Gelas pecah? <br><br>Hal tersebut adalah bagian dari proses belajar, yang diperlukan adalah pendampingan dan bimbingan bukan amarah dan kekesalan. Sulit memang. Tapi marilah kita belajar bersama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Kenapa Anak Bisa Susah Makan ?<\/strong><br><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Memang sedang masanya, maka ikutilah dan hargai anak\u2022 Seringkali penolakan anak terhadap makanan disebabkan pengalaman yg kurang menyenangkan<\/li><li>Memaksa anak makan malah akan menimbulkan kecemasan lebih lanjut dan membuat anak semakin tidak nyaman.<\/li><li>Perilaku makan dan sikap orang tua\/ pengasuh terhadap makanan dapat ditangkap oleh anak.<\/li><li>Anak belajar dan meniru, bila ia melihat orang tuanya menyingkirkan sayuran dari piringnya, anak cenderung akan melakukan hal yg sama. Maka, berubahlah demi anak, agar pola makannya lebih sehat.<\/li><li>Masalah medis, misalnya gangguan saraf motorik, gangguan menelan, sensitif terhadap tekstur makanan, masalah pada gigi dan lambung, obat tertentu, infeksi\/sakit.<\/li><li>Lingkungan, misalnya terlalu panas, berisik, distraksi oleh gadget\/TV, mengantuk, kenyang dengan susu\/snack <span id=\"ff8e459a-e6f1-4140-a96d-f771c4931abc\" data-items=\"[&quot;3372722698&quot;]\" class=\"abt-citation\" data-has-children=\"true\" contenteditable=\"false\"><sup>\u200b1\u200b<\/sup><\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Lalu bagaimana mengetahui penyebabnya? Amati, dan perhatikan anak. Bila khawatir\/ tidak yakin periksakan\/ konsultasikan pada ahlinya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>Apakah Porsinya Cukup ?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebagai orang tua kecemasan akan anaknya kurang gizi atau merasa kelaparan pasti ada. Maka dibuat panduan porsi makan anak. Panduan ini sebagai rekomendasi berapa seharusnya porsi makan anak. Namun, tetap harus diikuti dengan bijak. Tidak semua anak sama, tidak semua memiliki kemampuan makan yang sama. Hargai rasa lapar dan kenyang anak. Tidak semua anak kapasitas lambungnya sama.<br>Kalau memang sudah kenyang, jangan dipaksakan. Disinilah seni seorang ibu, bisa mengenali tanda lapar dan kenyang anak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Kapan Harus waspada ?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Masalah berat badan harus diwaspadai hanya bila laju pertumbuhan anak menyimpang dari kurva pertumbuhan normal (tidak sejajar) atau bila sdh termasuk gizi kurang\/ gizi buruk\/ gizi lebih\/ obesitas. Dan bila mother&#8217;s instinct bilang &#8220;waspada&#8221; (lebih baik ikuti kata hati untuk periksa ke dokter\/ ahlinya daripada berpikiran macam-macam)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Follow The Rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Biasakan anak memiliki kebiasaan makan yg baik sejak dini, akan lebih mudah dicegah untuk mengalami susah makan. Basic Feeding Rules menurut Bonnin: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Jadwal : teratur, tidak lebih dari 30 menit, tidak memberi makanan lain selain air putih diantara jam makan.<\/li><li>Lingkungan: tidak ada paksaan, bersih (tapi ijinkan anak mengotori dan berantakan saat proses makan), tidak sambil main, nonton TV\/ gadget, makanan bukan sebagai hadiah.<\/li><li>Tata cara: porsi kecil\/ jumlah sedikit, mulai dengan makanan padat, cairan diberikan kemudian, serta beri motivasi anak untuk makan sendiri. Ambil makanan bila anak mulai memainkan\/ membuang makanan setelah 10-15 menit makan. Membersihkan mulut hanya saat anak selesai makan.<span id=\"d950b3e3-a6e7-40ff-b071-409d4cee9bb1\" data-items=\"[&quot;3928853848&quot;]\" class=\"abt-citation\" data-has-children=\"true\" contenteditable=\"false\"><sup>\u200b2\u200b<\/sup><\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>TIPS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bila anak tidak mau makan (menutup mulut, mendorong makanan, memalingkan muka dll) tawarkan lagi setelah 10 menit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Bila setelah ditawarkan lagi dalam 10-15 menit tidak mau makan\/ makanan dimainkan\/ dibuang,akhiri proses makan. Berikan makanan di jadwal makan berikutnya. Kecuali anak merasa lapar dan meminta makan.<\/li><li>BilaBila anak mau makan dan setelah 30 menit masih tertarik untuk makan, tetap berikan. Makan adalah sebuah proses, sebuah proses belajar. Dan anak belajar dengan konsistensi. Bersabarlah dengan segala makanan dan kotoran yg berceceran. Bersabarlah dengan semburan atau alat makan yang dilempar. Lupakan dulu rumah yg rapih dan bersih untuk sesaat. Membentuk kebiasaan makan yang baik perlu aturan yg dijalankan sejak dini, yaitu sejak anak pertama kali belajar makan.
