Mari kita simak lebih jauh terkait sumber dan manfaat fluorida pada artikel berikut =)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mineral Fluorida<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Fluorida yang dikenal sebagai fluoride\/fluor  adalah salah satu senyawa kimia yang terbukti dapat bermanfaat bagi kesehatan. Fluorida memiliki fungsi untuk mencegah karies gigi pada konsentrasi tertentu ,namun pada keterpaparan yang berlebihan dapat meningkatkan terjadinya dampak negatif. Dampak tersebut dapat bervariasi dari fluorosis gigi ringan (keadaan dimana gigi menjadi kekuningan atau kecoklatan dan terdapat bintik-bintik pada enamel gigi) hingga fluorosis skeletal seiring dengan meningkatnya kadar dan lamanya paparan. Oleh karena itu, asupan fluoride haruslah dibatasi agar dapat mencegah karies namun tidak menimbulkan terjadinya fluorosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sumber Fluorida<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Fluorida tersedia pada alam bebas seperti pada air dalam jumlah kecil, udara, makanan dan minuman contohnya pada daging, ikan, unggas, produk serealia, kentang, sayuran hijau, beberapa buah, minyak, gula, dan umumnya fluorida diketahui terkandung dalam pasta gigi.<\/span><\/strong><span id=\"f54a6342-a67b-4275-aaeb-bea2d28a960c\" data-items=\"[&quot;422267816&quot;,&quot;2729141711&quot;]\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-has-children=\"true\" class=\"abt-citation\"><sup>\u200b1,2\u200b<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Sumber berbeda yang berkontribusi terhadap asupan dan paparan fluorida dapat diklasifikasikan sebagai berikut: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">(a) sistemik \/ terencana \u2014 susu berfluoride, air, atau garam, suplemen fluorida; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">(b) sistemik \/ insidental \u2014 penelanan pasta gigi, penelanan cairan fluorida, pencemaran lingkungan, penelanan lapisan Teflon pada panci; paparan makanan \/ tanah \/ pestisida, obat resep, merokok; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">(c) topikal \/ terencana \u2014 gel dan pernis yang dioleskan secara profesional, pasta gigi, atau pembilas dan gel untuk digunakan di rumah;  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">(d) topikal \/ insidental \u2014 bahan cetakan alginat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Studi longitudinal oleh Levy et al telah mengidentifikasi hal-hal berikut sebagai sumber utama asupan fluorida: turunan susu, air, ikan dan makanan laut, ayam, dan pasta gigi serta produk oral lain yang mengandung fluorida. Namun, hasil mereka menunjukkan bahwa tingkat asupan pada usia dini menunjukkan kisaran yang luas karena variasi konsumsi dan keragaman produk yang tersedia. Susu formula yang dicampur dengan air minum dapat meningkatkan jumlah fluorida dan oleh karena itu juga berisiko terkena fluorosis gigi. Konsumsi pasta gigi berfluoride pada anak-anak di bawah usia 6 tahun juga sangat terkait dengan peningkatan asupan fluoride.<span id=\"c75c144b-be9e-49d3-b7cd-4231d28e41f9\" data-items=\"[&quot;1193371438&quot;]\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-has-children=\"true\" class=\"abt-citation\"><sup>\u200b3\u200b<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fungsi Fluorida<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Selama mineralisasi tulang dan gigi, kalsium dan fosfor membentuk kristal yang disebut hidroksiapatit. Kemudian fluorida menggantikan bagian hidroksil (OH) dari kristal hidroksiapatit, membentuk fluorapatite, yang membuat gigi lebih kuat dan lebih tahan terhadap pembusukan. Karies gigi menempati urutan sebagai masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang paling luas, diperkirakan 95% dari populasi telah mengalami pembusukan gigi, gigi tanggal, atau menambal gigi. Dalam kesehatan tulang, fluorida dapat menjaga homeostasis tulang dengan menstimulasi aktivitas osteoblas.<span id=\"962d83b2-0b38-4eae-997a-c74f1b4fec31\" data-items=\"[&quot;1193371438&quot;]\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-has-children=\"true\" class=\"abt-citation\"><sup>\u200b3\u200b<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ahligizi.id\/blog\/2021\/04\/14\/zat-gizi-yang-berpengaruh-pada-kepadatan-tulang\/\"><strong>Lebih Lanjut : Zat yang Berpengaruh pada Kepadatan Tulang<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Toksisitas Fluorida<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>Terlalu banyak fluorida dapat merusak gigi, menyebabkan fluorosis<\/strong>.<\/span> Untuk alasan ini, batas maksimal asupan fluorida telah ditetapkan (10 mg\/hari, dengan kebutuhan untuk pria 4 mg\/hari dan wanita 3 mg\/hari). Dalam kasus ringan, gigi berkembang menjadi kecil bintik putih; pada kasus yang parah, email menjadi berlubang dan ternoda secara permanen. Fluorosis hanya terjadi selama perkembangan gigi dan tidak dapat dikembalikan, mencegah kejadian fluorosis pada 3 tahun pertama kehidupan merupakan prioritas tinggi.
