Telur, sebagai bagian dari protein hewani yang mudah ditemui di sekitar kita dianggap dapat meningkatkan kadar kolesterol darah. Protein hewani adalah protein yang lebih mudah penyerapannya oleh tubuh dibandingkan protein nabati. Telur adalah protein hewani yang murah, mudah diperoleh, praktis dalam pengolahannya dan memiliki dampak lingkungan yang rendah dibandingkan protein hewani lainnya. Telur dadar, telur ceplok, telur rebus, telur balado, pindang telur, telur asin dan aneka menu olahan telur ini diminati semua kelompok masyarakat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ahligizi.id\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/egg-575756_1280-1024x512.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1129\" width=\"746\" height=\"373\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ahligizi.id\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/egg-575756_1280-1024x512.png 1024w, https:\/\/ahligizi.id\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/egg-575756_1280-300x150.png 300w, https:\/\/ahligizi.id\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/egg-575756_1280-768x384.png 768w, https:\/\/ahligizi.id\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/egg-575756_1280.png 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 746px) 100vw, 746px\" \/><figcaption>https:\/\/pixabay.com\/id\/vectors\/telur-sarapan-kuning-telur-protein-575756\/<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Telur kaya akan\nkandungan gizi esensial (<em>high-quality protein<\/em>), komponen bioaktif\nseperti lutein dan zeaxanthin, sumber mineral, folat, vitamin B, vitamin larut\nlemak, lemak baik\/monounsaturated fatty acid (MUFAs) serta sumber bahan makanan\nyang mengandung kolesterol. Sebutir telur ayam (ukuran sedang sekitar 60 gram) mengandung\n92.4 kalori, 7.4 gram protein, 6.5 gram lemak, 0.4 gram karbohidrat, 51.6 mg\nkalsium, 154.8 mg fosfor, 1.8 mg zat besi (Fe) dan 0.6 mg zink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beberapa panduan diet merekomendasikan pembatasan konsumsi telur maksimal 3 butir per hari dikarenakan kandungan kolesterol dan pengaruhnya terhadap kenaikan lemak darah (kolesterol total, kolesterol Low Density Lipoprotein\/LDL, kolesterol High Density Lipoprotein\/HDL dan trigliserida) serta resiko terhadap penyakit kardiovaskular (penyakit yang berhubungan dengan pembuluh darah dan jantung, stroke, gagal jantung). Benarkah pembatasan konsumsi telur berhubungan dengan kadar kolesterol darah?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Apakah konsumsi telur mengakibatkan peningkatan kadar kolesterol darah ? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Berdasarkan penelitian terbaru yang diterbitkan oleh <em>The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition<\/em> ditemukan bahwa tidak ada hubungan positif antara konsumsi telur dengan lemak darah pada kelompok yang mengonsumsi telur \u2265 7 telur per minggu dibandingkan kelompok yang mengonsumsi telur &lt; 1 telur per minggu. Lemak darah yang diteliti meliputi kadar kolesterol total, HDL, LDL, trigliserida, apoA1, apoB, dan rasio apoB:apoA1. Selain itu, tidak ada hubungan positif antara konsumsi telur dengan kejadian penyakit kardiovaskuler maupun penyebab kematian di 50 negara yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Hal ini sejalan dengan penelitian <em>the China Kadoorie Biobank Study<\/em> yang menyatakan bahwa konsumsi telur yang lebih banyak berhubungan dengan penurunan resiko penyakit kardiovaskular. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Konsumsi bahan makanan yang mengandung kolesterol berkaitan dengan kadar kolesterol total dan LDL, akantetapi phospholipid yang terkandung dalam telur meningkatkatkan lemak baik, yaitu HDL yang juga memiliki efek bertolak belakang dengan LDL. Efek konsumsi telur akan bervariasi pada masyarakat tergantung pada kualitas makanan yang dikonsumsi seperti tinggi atau rendahnya konsumsi karbohidrat. Konsumsi telur yang mengandung phospholipid ini memiliki keuntungan untuk mencegah peradangan (anti inflamasi). Akan tetapi, telur juga dapat berefek menjadi pro-inflamasi pada beberapa orang. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\"><em>\u201cIt is associated with a reduction in inflammatory markers among overweight and obese individuals, whereas it has a proinflammatory response in healthy individuals\u201d.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oleh karenanya, kita masih diperkenankan untuk mengonsumsi telur 1 butir per hari dan hal ini telah diteliti tidak berhubungan dengan peningkatan resiko penyakit kardiovaskular maupun kematian. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Referensi <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.
