Mari kita simak pada artikel ini. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Branched Chain Amino Acid (BCAA)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>dikenal sebagai Asam Amino Rantai Cabang terdiri dari <strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">leusin, isoleusin, dan valin<\/span><\/strong>. BCAA memiliki rantai samping alifatik bercabang (karbon sentral terikat pada 3 atau lebih atom karbon). Terdapat dalam jumlah besar di otot (sekitar 35% dari protein otot) dan dapat dimetabolisme langsung dalam otot untuk membebaskan energi yang terkandung di dalamnya. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang penting antara BCAA dengan asam amino lain (seperti asam amino aromatik) yang pada umumnya dimetabolisme dalam hati dan usus halus. BCAA juga dapat terurai pada jaringan adiposa, ginjal, dan otak. <strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">BCAA sangat cocok diberikan pada penderita malnutrisi ataupun untuk memperkaya kandungan gizi makanan lainnya<\/span><\/strong>. <span id=\"e0dac09c-e5e5-459e-9652-062902d6e3e2\" data-items=\"[&quot;165733234&quot;,&quot;3795100537&quot;]\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-has-children=\"true\" class=\"abt-citation\"><sup>\u200b1,2\u200b<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Manfaat BCAA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>BCAA memiliki banyak manfaat antara lain :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Efek pada Metabolisme Protein<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>BCAA tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai substrat untuk sintesis protein, tetapi juga memberikan <strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">efek stimulasi pada sintesis protein dan efek penghambatan pada proteolisis<\/span><\/strong>. BCAA pada proteolisis terutama dimediasi oleh <em>branched-chain keto acids<\/em> (BCKA) dan <em>\u03b2-hydroxy-\u03b2-methylbutyrate<\/em> (HMB). HMB menurunkan aktivitas jalur proteolitik ubiquitin-proteasome dan memberikan efek menguntungkan pada otot dalam berbagai kondisi kesehatan dan penyakit.<span id=\"2bd506a4-8e1c-4d94-8fa0-bfabbab71526\" data-items=\"[&quot;165733234&quot;]\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-has-children=\"true\" class=\"abt-citation\"><sup>\u200b1\u200b<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Efek pada Neurotransmisi<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>BCAA ditranspor ke otak melalui pembawa yang sama yang mentranspor asam amino aromatik (fenilalanin, tirosin, triptofan), dimana persaingan antara BCAA dan asam amino aromatik dapat memengaruhi sintesis beberapa neurotransmitter terutama dopamin, norepinefrin dan 5-hidroksitriptamin (serotonin). Oleh karena itu, peningkatan <strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">BCAA dalam plasma darah mampu mempengaruhi kadar neurotransmitter di otak yang berdampak pada perilaku dan fungsi otak<\/span><\/strong>.<span id=\"c3662def-7909-4240-8381-dd2d58f46fee\" data-items=\"[&quot;165733234&quot;]\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-has-children=\"true\" class=\"abt-citation\"><sup>\u200b1\u200b<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Efek pada Metabolisme Glukosa<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ada hubungan erat antara BCAA dan kadar glukosa plasma. Fakta bahwa BCAA meregulasi transporter glukosa dan mengaktifkan sekresi insulin telah banyak dibuktikan. Namun, beberapa peneliti telah menyarankan bahwa asupan <strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">asam amino yang berlebihan justru dapat menyebabkan penghambatan pensinyalan insulin<\/span><\/strong>.<span id=\"bb1230a5-bc38-451b-b9de-b37458018341\" data-items=\"[&quot;165733234&quot;]\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-has-children=\"true\" class=\"abt-citation\"><sup>\u200b1\u200b<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Suplementasi BCAA dan Penyakit Hati<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Pada pasien dengan ensefalopati hepatik, suplementasi BCAA saat ini direkomendasikan dalam pedoman<em> American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition<\/em> (ASPEN) dan<em> European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism<\/em> (ESPEN)<\/span><\/strong>. Percobaan dan uji klinis terbaru menunjukkan kemungkinan aplikasi BCAA yang lebih luas pada penyakit hati. Malnutrisi yang terkait dengan sirosis telah terbukti dapat dikurangi dengan pemberian BCAA.<span id=\"e64a4a82-fa65-41d1-b73e-dbba2abdafd6\" data-items=\"[&quot;1180052837&quot;]\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-has-children=\"true\" class=\"abt-citation\"><sup>\u200b3\u200b<\/sup><\/span> Suplementasi BCAA jangka panjang dikaitkan dengan penurunan frekuensi gagal hati dan frekuensi komplikasi secara keseluruhan dengan status gizi yang lebih baik.<span id=\"f7eb43e9-19b4-4ff6-87ec-a9ca4e443ee4\" data-items=\"[&quot;2387651157&quot;]\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-has-children=\"true\" class=\"abt-citation\"><sup>\u200b4\u200b<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Efek menguntungkan dari suplementasi BCAA yang terjadi pada pasien penyakit hati meliputi perbaikan komposisi tubuh dan keseimbangan nitrogen, regenerasi sel hati, sintesis protein dan albumin, ensefalopati hepatik, serta fungsi kekebalan. Penelitian yang dilakukan pada karsinoma hepatoseluler menunjukkan bahwa pasien yang menerima suplementasi BCAA memiliki cadangan fungsional hati yang lebih kuat dengan serum albumin yang lebih tinggi serta tingkat asites dan edema yang lebih rendah dibandingkan mereka yang tidak menerima suplementasi BCAA. Manfaat <strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">suplementasi BCAA dapat memulihkan mekanisme pertahanan tubuh, yaitu fagositik dari neutrofil dan aktivitas sel pembunuh alami (sel NK) pada pasien sirosis<\/span><\/strong>.
