Mari kita simak lebih jauh pada artikel ini =)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Merkuri<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Merkuri atau air raksa (Hg) adalah salah satu jenis logam sebagai senyawa organik dan anorganik yang banyak ditemukan di alam&nbsp; dan tersebar dalam batu batuan, biji tambang, tanah, air, dan udara. Hg  merupakan logam yang dalam keadaan normal berbentuk cairan berwarna abu-abu dan tidak berbau. Merkuri memiliki sifat mudah menguap pada suhu ruangan,larut dalam asam sulfat atau asam nitrit, tetapi tahan terhadap basa.<span id=\"ea729397-8d84-4de6-88b9-9342e0ec576c\" data-items=\"[&quot;1067321285&quot;,&quot;1946316857&quot;]\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-has-children=\"true\" class=\"abt-citation\"><sup>\u200b1,2\u200b<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Mineral kontaminan termasuk logam berat timbal, merkuri, dan kadmium, yang masuk ke dalam makanan pasokan melalui tanah, air, dan polusi udara. <strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Logam berat merkuri (Hg) merupakan salah satu pencemar perairan yang berbahaya bagi lingkungan dan dapat terakumulasi pada organisme perairan<\/span><\/strong>. Lingkungan perairan yang tercemar Hg tidak hanya di pantai namunjuga di perairan sungai, yang airnya masih sering digunakan sebagai sumber air pasok untuk budidaya ikan.<span id=\"2aee190f-506d-4214-8ea1-506e75eeee99\" data-items=\"[&quot;436247369&quot;]\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-has-children=\"true\" class=\"abt-citation\"><sup>\u200b3\u200b<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sumber Merkuri<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Merkuri dan senyawa &#8211; senyawanya tersebar luas di alam. Mulai dari batuan, air, udara dan bahkan dalam tubuh organisme hidup. Penyebaran merkuri ini, dipengaruhi oleh faktor geologi, fisika, kimia dan biologi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selain itu, merkuri juga bisa terdapat dalam ikan. Siklus biogeokimia merkuri terjadi baik di udara dan di tanah. Di sedimen perairan, sebagian kecil dari Hg 2+ dikonversi ke bentuk organik. Reaksi metilasi dimediasi oleh beberapa jenis bakteri termasuk beberapa strain sulfat dan besi-mengurangi bakteri anaerob. Bentuk organik menembus di dalam jaringan tropik air melalui plankton (fitoplankton dan zooplankton) dan invertebrata. Setelah itu diserap oleh organisme melalui rantai makanan akuatik, terus berlanjut sampai ikan kecil dan ikan besar pada puncak rantai makanan. Dengan demikian, sumber paparan Hg untuk manusia adalah udara, air dan beberapa jenis vaksin. Kebanyakan ikan mengandung setidaknya sejumlah kecil merkuri, tetapi <em>tilefish<\/em> (juga dikenal sebagai ikan kakap emas atau baso emas), ikan todak, king mackerel, marlin, dan hiu memiliki tingkatan yang sangat tinggi. Selain efek toksik langsung merkuri, beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa merkuri dapat menurunkan kesehatan manfaat asam lemak omega-3.  Dalam upaya membatasi paparan polutan, sebagian konsumen memilih  ikan yang dibudidayakan dibanding ikan yang ditangkap di laut lepas, Ikan yang dibudidayakan cenderung lebih rendah merkuri.
